About  the  Lab

Jean Gariépy's Molecular Targeting and Therapeutics Laboratory is located at the  Sunnybrook Research Institute in Toronto, Ontario and is affiliated with the Department of Medical Biophysics and the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Toronto.

The laboratory focuses on the design and engineering of protein- and oligonucleotide-based therapeutics that modulate immune responses. Most of our ongoing research is directed towards the development of immune checkpoint therapies, anti-inflammatory agents, and DNA aptamers for application in cancer therapy or inflammatory diseases.

Some of our engineered protein constructs are now available through Addgene
